HR Software (HRIS /HCM) & Training Specialist 

XcelHR is looking to add a Human Resources Software & Training Specialist to our Rockville, Maryland-based Technology and Service Delivery team.
We’re looking for an energetic, highly motivated individual to join us, to provide implementation consultation and training that can engage learners with varying skill levels. This person will also provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting and analyzing issues and solutions. This position requires an outgoing, confident individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills and advanced computer skills.   • Provide end-user application support via phone and email, working with XcelHR technical staff as needed.
  • Develop an extensive working knowledge of our Payroll and HR product suites.
  • Provide software application training using a variety of delivery methods including web-based and on-site training
  • Coordinate new customer implementations, providing effective training to maximize use of the software
  • Develop training materials  
  • Develop working relationship with XcelHR Sales & Marketing staff to utilize product knowledge and customer relationships in support of sales efforts
Requirements / Experience / Skills:
General Human Resource knowledge isExperience with HRIS (Human Resource Information System) or HCM (Human Capital Management) systems/applications highly desired.
**Good interpersonal skills
**Someone who may have a teaching background.
  • Prior experience with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) /HCM (Human Capital Management) systems /applications is highly desired.
  • Associates Degree or equivalent work experience is required.
  • Experience delivering web-based training is highly preferred.
  • Ability to anticipate areas of difficulty and/or questions and quickly adapt training to meet the needs of students.
  • Ability to communicate professionally by phone and email.
  • Ability to cultivate positive working relationships with customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information in non-technical terms.
  • Ability to effectively organize and maintain customer data.
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience diagnosing problems with software products (preferred).
  • Advanced knowledge of Internet Explorer and using web-based applications.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
